My website was hacked, what should I do??

With AVG Threat Labs Site Owner Program, for website owners and webmasters, you can monitor the safety of your website and also view a list of all the URLs that were reported by AVG users as being compromised, exploited and/or potentially hacked with malware. This list can be used to identify where the malicious code was injected, simplifying the malware removal process.

In addition, we recommend that you contact a professional computer security specialist to perform a full and thorough security audit of your website to determine how the illicit code injections were achieved. Correcting all identified issues is necessary not only to remove the current malware, but also to prevent the website from being similarly compromised again in the future.

If you're not sure who to contact, we can provide some recommendations, independent of AVG, that offer the professional malware clean-up and repair services you need to get your website's safety back on track.
